ok, ladies here's the 'y0wza version' :



1: If he only wants to text, yea he's hiding something and he's just not that interested in you love.
(sidenote) If a guy is really interested in you: he'll will break his neck to talk to you, he'll make the effort, from his phone, his mom's phone, a payphone for crying out loud, (wait, do they even make those anymore?)

2. If he doesn't make the effort to call more than once a week. C'mon ladies! I'm not saying a guy has to be a stalker, but he's gotta make time for you IF he's interested enough. He can make 10 minutes for you to at least call and say 'hey there, how are ya?'

3. Ok, you're not getting any younger! I won't lie, i'm 31 in a few weeks, and i'm divorcing and i'm looking forward to getting on my my life hopefully with someone I can settle down with again- maybe a year or two from now that is. But ladies listen! YOU aren't getting any younger, if you really want someone who's gonna be INTO you, then set your standards high. Don't settle for someone who is going to jump onto you the first night. Well you can if thats what you want! But for me, nah. The best advice i got from my girlfriend is this: You can have sex with anyone, but its So hard to find someone to actually have a conversation with for more than one night. (Ok I ad-libbed a bit but you get the point, right?)

4. Watch his body language! If he's turned away from you, forget it. No eye contact, nope. If he just looks in pain talking to you, well honey, maybe he's constipated or he just wants to get out of the situation and go for the red head at the end of the bar. Honey, he wants a quickie, don't take it personal. If he keeps eye contact, smiles, laughs at your jokes, (c'mon you get it) yea, he's definately interested!

5. If he talks all about himself. FORGET IT and grab your bag and RUN! There's nothing worse than a guy only wanting to blah blah blah about himself. Well, there is but it would be his body odor or bad choice of cologne. But i digress! If a guy wants to know about you, honey, its common sense, he'll want to talk about you!

6. Unless you actually want this to happen, go for it. If a guy is touchy-feely, um RED LIGHT! I've actually chatted with a guy who was touchy feely and I didn't even know his last name. Yea he went as far as putting his hand on my chest-not breast yet but my actual chest. WHAT??!! NO ONE in their right respectful mind would ever do this!! If a guy is into you, he'll hold the upmost respect for you!! Ladies that includes sleeping with you the first night. Have some respect for yourself honey!!

7. I actually took this from my cousin. If you have a pet, yea the guy will try to get on with it.. meaning he'll try to like it as you do. If not, he'll be pleasant about it.... not rude! Same goes with kids, If you mention kids to the guy -not that your clock is ticking and you really like his dark hair and light eyes qualities- but that you have kids. I am a mother of two toddlers. It's gonna take a family oriented guy to be interested in me. That's even harder to find. However, a guy who's worthy of YOU will be ok with it and if not he'll be respectful of you being a mother and gently let you down and move on. AGAIN don't take it personal love, some guys just aren't cut out to be dads or step dad's. Maybe he'll have a dog and play 'dad' to it. You never know.

8. Ok. So... if you've made it this far then there's a few more thing i have to hit on. His appearance, his job, his apartment/home. Ladies, given you actually like the guy and like your life being neat and not to the point of having mold on the floor cause you/he are just too darn lazy to grab some bleach... my goodness thats a run on sentence! If a guy can keep his car, appearance etc neat and presentable then he will be the same way with you. Basically if he doesn't live in a junkyard of a apartment or house, then we have made progress. NOW listen, My apartment isn't sparkly clean but I do try to keep it decent. I have two toddlers and yea it can be a wreck. I have earned my lazy days!!!!!! But a bachleor, ladies, c'mon. If he can't take care of himself, he can't take care of you.

9. If he doesn't have a job. This one's easy RUN! You don't need to take care of a man. A man is to take care of you!! Ok hold up don't break out the torches and try to track me down. NO NO NO! I believe in going dutch. I believe in equality. But, lets look forward a bit. See yourelf married to the guy.... what happens if you lose your job or go on maternity leave (look WAY DOWN THE ROAD HONEY!!) bare with me... if something happens to you, who will be there to lift you up? Well, no one if your guy doesn't have a job. Nuff said.

10. Now I'm at my last bit here. Everyone has their downfalls. Snoring, chewing with their mouth open when they have a sinus infection, you get my point? Listen ladies... A man should care for himself. Period. If he's interested in you, he will do a lot to get with you... not for a one night stand hon, but really he'll call, he'll stay intersted, he'll want to see you.... beware of the stalker side of men tho... go ahead and Google it.
My final advice is keep yourself save, meet in public places, don't take your instincts for granted, NEVER take a man to your home if you have kids!! NEVER! Refer back to the stalker bit love. Ok, now. Just listen to your instincts, you gut feeling-no not your stomach growling! Have fun with it. Don't jump for the first guy that shows interest in you. You want to find someone who's worthy of your love and you!! Keep your legs closed and your heart guarded ladies!! Take it from someone who had to learn the hard way. xxoo
